Fees

My hourly rate for individual therapy is $165. I accept cash, check, and credit cards. Payment is due at the time of service, and 24 hours’ notice is required for all cancellations except in the case of sudden illness or emergency.

I also offer a limited number of reduced-fee spots for clients with limited financial resources. Please contact me to learn more! (Unfortunately my reduced-fee spots are currently full as of 8/23/24.)

Insurance

I am in-network with Lifewise Health Plan of Washington. For all other insurance plans I’m considered an out-of-network provider.

Many insurance companies will reimburse you for some of the cost of out-of-network therapy. I can provide out-of-network paperwork called a superbill for requesting insurance reimbursement, and I’m here to help you navigate this process. If you would like to use out-of-network benefits for therapy, contact your insurance company to find out what your plan will cover. Please ask your insurer the following questions:

• Do I have out-of-network benefits for outpatient mental or behavioral health care?

• Do I have a separate out-of-network deductible?

• Do I need to meet my out-of-network deductible before insurance will reimburse for out-of-network therapy?

• How much will my insurance reimburse for 55-minute therapy appointments? (CPT Code 90837, billed at $165 per session)

• How do I submit a superbill for reimbursement?

• How long do I have to submit my superbill after the date of service? (Often 90-180 days)
